The rich texture conveys the message in a different way, more subtle, more sophisticate, comparing with most other black-white photos and movie scenes that express clear 'opinions'.

It's a great approach.

Strategically placed fore ground frames up an ideal scene ratio, which is otherwise not possible. At the same time, the photographer keeps the familiar 75% white/25%black, horizontal/vertical, center/corner graphic characteristics.

The frame with in frame and the frame without is blurring the concept of the edge of the theme. Smartly, it is realized by tried and successful strategy.

It could be nice to see the photo in the collection, so that the idea behind image can be revealed more. I personally believe that the collection should be organized horizontally.
